What You'll Learn
This class is contingent on having at least 5 registered students. If you register and we do not have the required amount by the deadline the class will be pushed to the following month to allow for more people to register. Those registered will automatically be moved to the next available class. No refunds will be given.
This class is much more than just a pathway to obtaining your Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (CCWP); it’s a supportive and empowering environment tailored specifically for women. Whether you’re considering carrying a firearm for self-defense under Montana's Constitutional Carry rights, exploring future recreational carry, or seeking vital information about the legal use of force, this training is designed with your unique needs in mind.
What truly sets this training apart is the emphasis on building your confidence and knowledge. While you will receive a certification to support your CCWP application, the heart of this class is about equipping you with practical skills and insights. You’ll learn how to avoid conflicts, assess potentially dangerous situations, and know when and how to take action if you’re ever threatened. Whether you’re armed or unarmed, we’ll prepare you to respond effectively in those critical moments.
We’ll dive into the fundamentals of shooting, ensuring you feel comfortable and competent handling a firearm. We’ll discuss different types of firearms available, helping you choose the best fit for your lifestyle and preferences. This approach empowers you to make informed decisions about your self-defense options.
Additionally, we’ll cover essential information about reciprocity laws, so you know what’s required to carry in other states. Together, we’ll explore conflict avoidance, situational awareness, and the nuances of use of force laws. You’ll also learn how to communicate with law enforcement after an incident, including how stress impacts memory and what to say to ensure your voice is heard. Through engaging, real-world scenarios, you’ll practice making split-second decisions that could be the difference between safety and danger.
This training is built on the award-winning USCCA’s Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals, a program recognized for its thorough and effective approach to personal protection. By combining this exceptional curriculum with my extensive experience as a law enforcement officer, I’m committed to providing you with the best possible preparation. My decade of hands-on experience equips you with insights into real-world situations, ensuring you leave with a well-rounded education that addresses not just the physical skills but also the legal aspects of self-defense. Together, we’ll ensure you feel empowered and ready for whatever situation you may face.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Punctuality Policy: Please ensure you arrive on time. Some classes start as soon as the venue opens, so check the location’s hours and be seated at the designated start time. Our instructors are legally required to cover a specific amount of material, and full attendance is crucial for certification. If you arrive late, you may be asked to reschedule, as missing any part of the class will disqualify you from receiving your certification. Our instructors cannot issue certifications to anyone who misses significant portions of the course. You may reschedule your paid class once for free, but any additional rescheduling will incur a $15 fee, valid within one year of purchase. We appreciate your understanding. Safety Policy: Safety is non-negotiable in all of our classes. Any unsafe or disruptive behavior, either in the classroom or on the range, will result in immediate dismissal without a refund. The instructor holds full discretion in determining whether a student's actions compromise safety or disrupt the learning environment. Refund Policy: All class fees are nonrefundable. In the case of extreme weather, venue closures, lack of sufficient enrollment, or other unforeseen circumstances, the class will be rescheduled, not refunded.
