What You'll Learn
PISTOL SKILLS 1 – LEE’S SUMMIT, MISSOURI If this class does not meet the minimum number of sign-ups, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this class.
Skill Level: Beginner
Prerequisites: Must be 21 years old or older
Objective: To introduce the new shooter to the basics of handguns including function, ammunition selection, care, and the fundamentals of shooting. The student should feel comfortable with the basic function of the firearm and taking it to the range for practice
Course Description: Pistol Skills 1 will take you through all of the basics of being a new shooter. The class will include approximately 75% classroom instruction and 25% range time.
Topics Covered Include:
Revolvers vs Semi-Automatics Ammunition types and selection Loading a magazine Safe Storage Range rules and hygiene The 7 Fundamentals of shooting Live fire practice Required Equipment:
Personal Firearm (or you can rent one for a fee) 50 – 100 rounds of bass cased ammunition* Eye and Ear Protection* *Available for purchase day of class Recommended Optional Equipment:
Notebook and pen to take notes Snap caps/dummy rounds in the proper caliber Session Length: 3 hours

Cancellation Policy: If you have scheduled a training that ends up not working for your schedule and you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact our training staff as soon as possible. Students may reschedule & receive credit towards another training opportunity within the same calendar year with approval from Frontier Justice. For any cancellations received more than 3 weeks ahead of the scheduled training, a 50% refund will be offered. If cancelling less than 3 weeks from the scheduled training, no refund will be offered. We will NOT apply retroactive discounts or sales prices.
