My Biography
Ellison’s Firearm Training was founded in 2020 during the midst of the pandemic, we are based in St. Clair County IL in the southern part of the state right across from St. Louis. We specialize in the training of the 16- Hour Concealed Carry Training for Illinois as well as Firearm Safety Courses, Gun Cleaning and Women Specific Courses.
We are comprised of a four-person team both men and women with two of our Certified USCCA Instructors being former Army Veterans, our team is also Faith Based and regularly spend our Sunday’s worshipping when we are not teaching and training.
The world is not the same as it once was, we want to make sure that our clients are ready to face the dangers seen and unseen.

Do you have a new pistol or new to firarms all together? We will teach you firearm basics including how to be safe around firearms. We will also cover the fundamentals of ammunition, malfunction drills, and shooting positions.
Has it been five years already? The renewal process encompasses any modifications to the FOID and CCL legislation, as well as a refresher on use of force and a qualification shoot. It is imperative that you complete this training and reapply prior to the expiration of your CCL. Individuals who fail to do so will be required to undertake the 16-hour training once more.
On Saturday, you are scheduled to meet with the class at Shooters Indoor Range in Columbia, Illinois, for the range segment. Kindly arrive by 4:00PM. Shooter's Firearms & Indoor Range 310 BB Road, Columbia, IL. 62236
On Sunday, you are scheduled to arrive at our training facility located at 5300 N. Belt West, Belleville, IL 62226, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

This class will have allow every student to fire 30 rounds at an approved target, range fees are included in the price of the class.
This class will give you the basic fundamentals on how to control and properly handle a firearm, in this class we will be concentrating on pistols. We will also cover basic firearm do's and don'ts.
Have a firearm and want got clean it or learn how to clean you handgun, this class is also for you.
Day 1. This training covers 8 hours of the required 16 to apply for the Illinois CCL. Terminology, basics of stance, grip is covered during this class along with handgun breakdown and cleaning. -------------------------------------Once again we will be qualifying at the range on Saturday afternoon in order to get everyone the time they need so be prepared for a day of excitement.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 2.This training covers the second 8 hours of the required 16 to apply for the Illinois CCL. Illinois FOID and CCL laws, use of force and drawing from concealment. This is the day you will want to pay a lot of attention to, we will be covering the Laws of Illinois concearning The FOID Card and The Concealed Carry Statutes along with the states reciprocity with other states.
Missouri Residents only --------------------------
This training covers the minimum 8 hours required to obtain your Missouri CCW License, plus an additional 8 for the full concealed experience.
Terminology, basics of stance, grip is covered during this class along with handgun breakdown and cleaning. We will also discuss ammunition types and when different ammunition types are to be used.
The $99.00 fee is for the training only and does not include the $100.00 paid to the state of Missouri for your CCW License.
Ellisons Firearm Training LLC, will be hosting a free basic firearm training course for the Finer Women of Zeta Phi Beta Incorporated on October 10th. This course is free to our Constitutional Bound Sister’s, the only catch is you must register for the class using this private link. By registering you will receive a certificate of completion from Ellisons Firearm Training LLC.
