What You'll Learn
Women's Beginner Handgun is a three-hour Saturday morning class designed for women who are brand new to firearms.
No experience required. No judgment. Just a welcoming, women-only environment where you can ask every question you've been embarrassed to ask anywhere else.
You'll learn how firearms actually work, how to handle one safely, the four rules that keep everyone on the range alive, and the fundamentals of shooting — grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control — before stepping to the range and putting it all into practice with live fire.
This class was built for women by women. It starts at zero. It ends with confidence.
And somewhere in the middle, you'll probably realize this was way less intimidating than you thought.
Seats are limited. Reserve yours.
Cancellation Policy: Training Courses are non-refundable but may be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled class date. Classes canceled less than 48 hours before the class will not be rescheduled.
What We'll Teach
Basic
In this introduction module, Beth Alcazar introduces students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. Alcazar goes on to explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics, and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Training fees are non-refundable. 24 hours notice is required to reschedule. No call, no show on class day is a forfeiture of fees.
