My Biography
Graham Hunt approaches every class the same way he approaches his own training — as a student with more to learn.
After 8 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces member and CBRNE specialist (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosives), Graham developed a deep understanding of how people respond to high-stakes situations. He was responsible for planning installation-level responses to natural and man-made disasters, deployed multiple times under Operations Southern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, and provided security for Air Force One. Following his military service, Graham continued serving in high-trust roles as an overseas contractor for the State Department and Department of Defense.
Today, Graham is the Founder, CEO, and Chief Firearms Instructor of Downtown Tactical — bringing over 20 years of teaching and training experience to every course he leads.

Graham's philosophy is simple: he may be your instructor, but you're on the same path — he's just a few mile markers ahead. His job is to bring those markers into view, help you move forward with confidence, and remind you that the skills you build in training are only the foundation. Consistent practice is what turns knowledge into proficiency.
