What You'll Learn
This is a ONE-DAY USCCA course curriculum designed to teach students how to safely use a handgun. It also covers different types of pistols and revolvers, how they operate, the pros and cons of each type, and the proper ammunition for each. This course covers the importance of being aware of your surroundings (“situational awareness”), introduces defensive firearms concepts, and covers the legal and ethical aspects of carrying and using a firearm in defense of your self and/or others. The completion of this course qualifies students for the Mississippi Enhanced Permit endorsement to the Mississippi Firearms Permit.
Course length: 8 hours Start Time: 8:00 a.m. Pre-Requisite: None Ammo Required: 50 rounds
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
