Safety Training: Emphasis on safe handling, storage, and transportation of firearms. Marksmanship: Basic shooting skills and techniques to ensure responsible firearm use. Situational Awareness: Training on recognizing and responding to potential threats. Qualification: After completing the classroom training, applicants must pass a qualification test which involves: Live-Fire Exercise: Demonstrating proficiency with a firearm by shooting at a target. Scoring: Achieving a minimum score as determined by the training program. Equipment: Using a firearm that meets Minnesota's legal standards and is appropriate for the test. Conclusion: Successfully completing the classroom training and passing the qualification test are essential steps in obtaining a Minnesota Permit to Carry. Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
