My Biography
Certified Instructor - Range Safety Officer - Terms that have applied for several years now - But it took a robbery to wake me up - to realize that my (then) seven-year-old son, his safety, and keeping his mother around was FULLY my responsibility and no one else's.
After "breaking free" from old ways of thinking I began training to equip and empower myself to protect those I love most even as I take care of myself, their wife and mother, but the journey did not stop there. The fire did not burn out. Equipping, educating, and empowering men and women who desire to be the tallest strongest wall between their families and any threat that would come against them is a passion. There is something very special that shifts inside of you when you purpose to be that wall. State Requirements: Firearms, the law, issues of civil liability, the use of deadly force, methods to avoid conflict, and the consequences of the use of deadly force. Fundamentals of pistol shooting and positions. Knowledge of ammunition. Michigan CPL Laws The necessity of avoiding a violent confrontation. Five hours of classroom instruction including dry fire drills with an artificial gun before going to the range. Three hours of range instruction to allow each student the opportunity to meet the requirement of firing 35 to 50 rounds or more to exhibit safe proficient handling of a pistol. Range rental included in class fee.
