What You'll Learn
Gain the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to carry with confidence. This one-day course, taught by a certified NRA and USCCA-trained instructor, meets all Michigan state requirements for obtaining your CPL. Throughout the class, you will learn firearm safety, defensive shooting fundamentals, Michigan legal requirements, use-of-force considerations, conflict avoidance, situational awareness, and responsible concealed carry practices. The day concludes with hands-on live-fire training to reinforce the skills covered in class.
Optional Add-On
Firearm Rental – $25. This includes handgun rental plus 30 rounds of ammunition for the live-fire qualification.
Cancellation Policy: We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 48 hours before class, and your deposit or payment will be fully credited toward any future class of your choice. No-shows (students who do not attend and do not cancel) forfeit their deposit or full payment and are not eligible for a credit.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

IMPORTANT Safety Requirements No ammunition or firearms are allowed in the classroom. All firearms used for training must remain secured until the live-fire portion begins.
