What You'll Learn
Defensive Pistol & Rifle Applications – 2‑Day Course
This intensive 2‑day course is designed for responsible, vetted gun owners who want to integrate defensive pistol and rifle skills into one cohesive fighting platform. Students will learn to run both weapons efficiently, transition between them under pressure, and apply sound tactics, all while maintaining strict safety standards.
Course Focus Over two days, students will work through structured drills that emphasize:
Firearms safety, mindset, and gear setup for defensive use
Fundamentals at speed: stance, grip, sighting systems, trigger control, and recoil management
Efficient draw stroke from the holster, emergency and tactical pistol reloads, and malfunction clearance
Defensive rifle manipulations: ready positions, presentation, reloads, and stoppage drills
Pistol‑to‑rifle and rifle‑to‑pistol transitions under time pressure and from realistic positions
Use of cover and concealment, barricade work, and positional shooting (standing, kneeling, seated, prone)
Distance management: typical handgun distances out to 25 yards and rifle engagements out to 100+ yards (range‑dependent)
Movement: lateral and angular movement off the line of attack, shooting on the move when appropriate
Decision‑making and problem‑solving through structured, scenario‑based drills
This is a working class, not a basic marksmanship course. Expect a fast pace, detailed coaching, and a focus on applying skills, not just punching paper.
