Class Description This Michigan-approved Concealed Pistol License (CPL) class is designed to prepare and educate students on the most important aspects of concealed carry in the State of Michigan. This regulated and certified course provides the training required to apply for your Michigan CPL and focuses on where you can carry, when you may use a firearm in self-defense, and what to do after a self-defense incident.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understandingi conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.
PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of 10 students is required to hold this class. If this minimum is not met, the class may be rescheduled for a future date or combined with a future class. Refunds are not implied or guaranteed for rescheduled sessions.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy To ensure fairness to all students and to allow us to properly staff and prepare for each class, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or reschedule request. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class date. No monetary refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows. Each student is permitted one (1) reschedule to a future class date, provided the request is made within the 48-hour notice window. Failure to provide proper notice or failure to attend the class will result in forfeiture of tuition. We value our time and preparation just as we respect and value yours. This policy allows us to maintain a high-quality training experience for every student. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please leave all firearms and ammo secured in your vehicle. These items will only be needed for the live-fire qualification at the range. • Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are welcome. • We recommend bringing a notepad and pen for notes. • This course is required to obtain your Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL) and includes a shooting qualification. • Please arrive with a basic understanding of safe firearm handling and shooting fundamentals. *PLEASE NOTE. LIVE FIRE/SHOOTING SECTION OF THIS COURSE WILL BE DONE OFFSITE, INDOORS ROUGHLY 25 MIN FROM 14901 32 MILE, ROMEO MI* We will end the classroom portion and allot for an additional 30 min to eat between classroom and shooting portions. *Cost for the shooting portion will range $18-$20 and will be paid to the range directly.* We look forward to training with you.
