This is an introductory course. I’ll go over some of the basics of firearms, firearm safety, and firearms handling, followed by a Q/A session. If you aren’t sure about getting your Michigan CPL but want to familiarize yourself with the basics.

In our USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals class, we focus on situational awareness and conflict avoidance. Our course will empower students to be self-determined and intentional about their safety and the safety of those they love. We place heavy emphasis on the legal aspects of carrying a firearm; when you can use force, how to travel with a firearm, and dealing with the aftermath of a self-defense encounter. Finally, the time you spend on the range with our instructors will introduce you important skills and the lessons learned will encourage safe and responsible firearm ownership.
A minimum of 3 registered students are required for this class to be held. If the minimum amount of registrations are not met, those who have registered will be moved to a new class date.
Range fee, and target are included at no additional cost. If you need to rent a firearm and purchase ammunition at the range, you will be able to. Firearm rental and ammunition will be approximately $50.
Refund Policy: All payments are final. If you are unable to make a class, AK Defensive Solutions will carry credit and enroll you into another course. If enrollment requirements are not met for a class, all registered participants will be rescheduled for another date. If a class is cancelled by AK Defensive Solutions, then we will give you the option of carrying a credit or receiving full refund. DEPOSITS CAN BE MOVED ONCE TO ANOTHER SCHEDULED CLASS. FOR SALE PRICED CLASSES, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RESCHEDULE ONE TIME.

Mass shootings have become all too familiar today and that is unacceptable. This course is designed to give us the information and data to identify, reduce, control, and then eliminate these incidents.
This class is designed to teach you how to clean your firearm safely. We will go over the universal firearm safety rules and detail how to disassemble your gun. We will also show you how to disassemble and clean the magazines that came with your firearm.
