What You'll Learn

This Firearms Safety Course covers safe gun handling and is conducted in a classroom setting with a live-fire component. Students learn the rules of safe gun handling, the primary causes of firearm accidents, firearm parts, how to unload certain action types, ammunition components, cleaning and care, safe storage of firearms in the home, and Massachusetts gun laws.

Students will receive a Massachusetts Basic Firearms Safety Certificate upon successful completion.
