My Biography

Hi, I’m Kate Giddins, founder of Joan of Arms. I created this company to make firearms and personal safety training feel clear, approachable, and empowering—not intimidating.

My teaching style is calm, direct, and rooted in real-world safety, awareness, and responsibility. I specialize in working with women, parents, and first-time gun owners, helping them build confidence, trust their instincts, and understand not just how to carry, but why mindset and preparation matter.

My goal is simple: to help people feel capable, informed, and ready to protect themselves and their families—legally and responsibly.
