What You'll Learn
As a Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructor (QHI) and given the Maryland COVID restrictions, I elect to participate in a virtual handgun permit training course via Zoom. This will, however, require a real-time, bi-directional audio/visual connection between me, the QHI, and the student(s). Once the student(s) has/have registered for the Maryland HQL course, a link for the virtual class will be sent to the students' email. Range dates and times will be determined and given in the class. On the first day of class, the Virtual Classroom occurs. On the second day, the Live Fire range is conducted. Due to state COVID restrictions; a mask is required for all in-person training.
Cancellation Policy: No refunds. You may reschedule class up to 6 months from the original class date. I am more than willing to accommodate my students.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Class, firearm rental, ammo, target and lane rental, eye and ear protection are covered by the course fee. Fingerprints (or Live Scan) and license are paid by the student to other vendors.
