This will be a hands-on course on how to clean you firearm. I will educate you and guide you through the process of field stripping, cleaning, lubricating and re-assembling your personal handgun. You will then follow the steps and clean your firearm. Included in the class is a handgun cleaning kit and cleaning mat. These items are yours to keep and are included in the price of the class so you can continue to maintain your firearm after class. All you will need to bring if the firearm/s you wish to clean!

Introduction to Defensive Shooting

Take your concealed-carry skills beyond the basics with Stay Ready’s Introduction to Defensive Shooting course. This four-hour, hands-on class is designed for shooters who already understand firearm fundamentals and want to begin developing practical defensive shooting skills.

During this course, students will work on clearing a cover garment, safely drawing from concealment, establishing a proper presentation, and getting on target for an effective first shot. Students will also practice engaging different target zones and performing emergency reloads under controlled range conditions.

Course Details

Duration: 4 hours

Cost: $250 per person

Location: Private outdoor range — exact location provided to registered students

Ammunition: One box of 9mm ammunition is included

Other Calibers: Students using a caliber other than 9mm must provide their own ammunition

Experience Requirement

This is not a beginner or first-time shooter course. Students should be somewhat proficient and comfortable with their firearm prior to attending. You should already understand basic firearm safety, loading and unloading, safe handling, and fundamental shooting techniques.

What to Bring

Students should bring their firearm, a concealed-carry holster, extra magazines, eye and ear protection, and an appropriate concealment/cover garment. A magazine carrier or magazine pouch is recommended but not required.

One box of 9mm ammunition is provided. If you are using a caliber other than 9mm, you must provide your own ammunition.

Outdoor Training

This class will be conducted outdoors. Please check the weather and dress appropriately for the conditions. Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for several hours of outdoor range training are strongly recommended.

Have you ever wanted to understand how an AR-15 works and build one yourself? This comprehensive two-day hands-on workshop provides students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build, maintain, and troubleshoot their own AR-15 rifle.

Led by Master Gunsmith Warren Donald of PDS Customs, this course combines classroom instruction with hands-on assembly. Students will learn the purpose and function of every major AR-15 component, how the rifle operates, how to select parts based on their intended use, and proper assembly techniques using professional armorer tools.

Prior to the class, students will receive guidance in selecting components that fit their budget and intended purpose. Whether your goal is a home-defense rifle, range rifle, competition gun, hunting rifle, or a fully customized build, you'll receive expert assistance designing a rifle tailored to your needs.

During the workshop, students will assemble their AR-15 from individual components under the supervision of experienced instructors. Upon successful completion of the course, students will leave with a fully assembled AR-15, a deeper understanding of the platform, and the knowledge needed to maintain and upgrade their rifle for years to come.
