What You'll Learn
This course satisfies the Maryland training requirement for the Wear & Carry Permit and prepares students to responsibly carry a handgun for personal protection.
Students will receive professional instruction covering firearm safety, Maryland firearm law, defensive mindset, and situational awareness. The course includes classroom instruction and the required live-fire qualification.
This training is also commonly accepted for non-resident concealed carry permit applications including Florida, Utah, and Arizona. Application guidance for these additional permits will be provided after the class.
Small class sizes ensure personal instruction and a safe learning environment.
Maximum class size: 10 students. Topics Covered:
MD firearm law Use of force / deadly force law Conflict avoidance Situational awareness Safe carry and storage Handgun operation Drawing and defensive shooting concepts Interaction with law enforcement Aftermath of defensive shooting Range qualification Range qualification requirement
Students must fire at least 25 rounds for CCW. Distance up to 15 yards 70% score required to pass Handgun Provided
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals with Simulations
This real-world self-defense scenario training is designed to improve your mindset and skills, regardless of experience level or background, in a safe and controlled environment. You can practice making split-second decisions, which will help you to understand the legal use of force. This is one of the most practical and effective ways to recognize when — or if — the use of deadly force is justified. Test your knowledge and learn from realistic situations that you could encounter in your daily life. Simulation training scenarios activate students’ mental and physical responses to mimic real self-defense scenarios, giving you a deeper understanding of how you’ll react under pressure.
