What You'll Learn
16 hours of instruction are required for the first Wear and Carry Permit application. A Qualified Handgun Instructor will deliver the authorized training, which will include state firearm laws, home firearm safety, handgun mechanics and operation, and a component where the applicant must show competency with and gun safety with a minimum accuracy score of 70%.
Each candidate must shoot a course of at least 25 rounds from a distance of no more than 15 yards while maintaining an accuracy rating of at least 70%. We shall take all necessary steps to create a secure and safe training environment.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 5 weeks in advance of a class date in order to receive a partial refund. Classes cancelled less than 24 hours before the class will not be refunded.
