What You'll Learn

This is day 1 of a two-day course. You must attend a Day 2 class to complete the training and fulfill the 16 hour training requirement.

Completing this course satisfies 8 of the 16 hours of required training to apply for your Maryland Wear and Carry Permit..

Day 1 Topics Includes

MSP Application Overview *application completion assistance is available for $65.00 Fingerprinting Maryland Carry Laws Reciprocity USCCA Basic Handgun

There is no live fire on Day 1. However, we will be handling firearms in the classroom. If you have a firearm please bring it with you UNLOADED to the classroom.

Completion of this course does not guarantee the issuance of the permit. In Maryland you still must provide a 'good and substantial reason' for the permit to be issued. This course is delivered in two 8 hour days.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 24 hours before the class will not be refunded.
