What You'll Learn
This is a required 4-hour course for new purchasers of handguns in Maryland.
Cost is $170.00 per person and includes the required Live Scan fingerprinting that is done onsite.
*You will be responsible for the $50.00 application fee to the state police
Classroom Instruction includes:
Pistol knowledge and operation Pistol action types Rules for safe gun handling and use Ammunition knowledge Fundamentals of pistol shooting Intro to MD firearms and self-defense laws Selecting your first pistol Maintenance and storage Application process
*You will also receive two USCCA mini-courses as part of the course. Self Defense Firearms Basics and Legal Use of Force.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 24 hours before the class will not be refunded.
