What You'll Learn
MARYLAND Wear and Carry Course Syllabus
Over the course of the 16 hours of instruction, we will cover all Maryland required training in accordance with Maryland State Police, State and Federal Laws.
Day 1:
●Handgun Fundamentals
● Range course of fire practice
● Live Fire at the Range (Cindy's Hot Shots, Severn)
● Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
● Use of Force and Use of Deadly Force
Day 2:
● Federal and Maryland State Firearms Laws
● How to deal with Police and preparing your defense
● Violent Encounters and the Aftermath
● The application process ● Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan
● Gear and Gadgets
● Future continuing education options, and next steps.

The live fire portion of the class may occur on day 1 or day 2 depending on the class size and individual student requirements. I will advise students on the first day of training as to which day they will attend the range.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Our Wear and Carry class qualify for Arizona and Pennsylvania, non-resident carry permits at no additional class cost. Allowing you to carry in up to 36 States. Classes are limited to 10 students.
