What You'll Learn
The USCCA Handgun Permit Class offered by a Certified US Concealed Carry Association Instructor is a comprehensive training program designed to equip security guards and civilians alike with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a handgun permit in the state of Maryland. This class covers essential topics such as firearm safety, marksmanship, legal responsibilities and situational awareness. With expert instructors and hands-on training, students will gain the confidence and expertise needed to safely and effectively carry a handgun in the line of duty and in every day life. Invest in your professional development and enhance your ability to protect yourself and others with the USCCA Handgun Permit Class. This is a 16-hour, 2-day course. Your fee includes classroom instruction, range time, targets, ammunition and firearm rental. Civilians will qualify on the range using the standard home defense standards and industry professionals will qualify using the police qualification standards.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
