This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
In addition, the cost of this class covers the use of a semi- automatic firearm, ammo (first 25 rounds), targets, hearing and eye protection, if needed. NOTE: If you choose to use your own weapon, we encourage each student to bring the handgun and ammo that they will carry concealed to use on the range, on the ‘SECOND DAY’ of class. Students who choose to carry any other caliber handgun other than 9mm will need to supply their own ammunition. All personal firearms and ammunition brought to the facility must be unloaded, cased, and kept locked in the student's vehicle until we arrive at the range, then specific instructions will be provided by the instructor. NO FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM!
