This is a 16-hour course with mandatory live-fire range training qualification.
PART-I: Andrews AFB, Camp Springs, MD (Exact location released after registration) Objectives:
- Firearm Safety
- Pistol Parts, Operation & Maintenance
- Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
- Concealed Carry & Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
- The Ethical Use of Deadly Force
PART-II:
Instructor-Led Live Virtual Course

- Permit Application Process
PART III: Live-Fire Range Training & Qualification Maryland Small Arms Range, Upper Marlboro, MD NRA Range, Fairfax, VA *Range qualification will be scheduled for convenient day and time
DMV CARRY’s MULTI-STATE-MAX! Carry Permit Training Course is conducted by NRA and USCCA Certified Instructors who have been approved by the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police, Maryland State Police and Utah Department of Public Safety to conduct and certify their firearms training curriculum.
Upon successful completion of this course, student will receive: 1 – District of Columbia Concealed Carry Pistol License Course Completion Certificate 2 – Maryland Wear and Carry Permit Training Qualification Certificate (+ HQL, if applicable) 3 – Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit (NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course Certificate) 4 – Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Training Certificate 5 – Illinois Concealed Carry License Certificate (Virginia residents only) 6 – Florida Conceal Firearms License Training Certificate 7 – Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit Training Certificate
This course requires the completion of at least two hours range training, including a shooting qualification course of fifty rounds of ammunition from a maximum distance of fifteen yards, and receiving a qualifying score of at least 70%.
Handguns are available to use for qualification if you do not own one. If you do have your own firearm, you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring it.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO LIVE AMMUNITION allowed during the classroom portion of training.
There are no prerequisites for this training. You do not need to own a firearm to attend this course. DMV CARRY’s smaller class size ensures low stress environment and allows individual attention.
Please bring valid government photo ID.
Fingerprints and state application fees are not included in class price.
Range fees are not included in class price.
This course provides an overview of federal/state laws and permit process. Ultimately, it is the permit holder’s responsibility to stay up-to-date and in compliance with current laws and permit restrictions.
