This course satisfies the Concealed Carry requirement for the state of Maryland. In this class, the following blocks of instruction will be covered in great detail...
- Firearm safety
- Firearm nomenclature
- Basic principles of marksmanship
- Care, cleaning, maintenance, loading, unloading, and storage of pistols
- Situational awareness, conflict management, and use of deadly force
- Selection of pistols and ammunition for defensive purposes
- Duty to retreat vs. Stand your ground based on the jurisdiction you are in We will also briefly touch on the requirements for Conceal Carry in the state of Maryland, as well as the application process. Classroom curriculum will be wrapped up with Simulation training, providing you with a virtual qualification experience before heading into live fire.
