What You'll Learn

This 2-day experience satisfies all requirements for Maryland's Handgun Qualifying License (HQL) and Handgun Permit (HGP) to concealed carry. This class will also provide students with a wealth of information they can immediate put to use in their daily lives.

All classes are led by members of an experienced team of instructors. The team includes members of law enforcement, attorneys, EMT/fire, security professionals, and educators. This provides unique perspectives and engaging educational experiences.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to notify instructor at least 72 hours prior to class to reschedule without additional fees. Students will be afforded one free rescheduling. No refunds.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

    "I took the class without about 8-10 other people. Everyone had different amounts of firearm knowledge from none to a lot. The instructors are amazing and start at the very beginning of self defense. By the end of the course i had an entirely new perspective on the matter and now feel very educated on concealed carry and self defense. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and competent. They genuinely care that you understand the subject and also make the class fun (I laughed a lot), they are very kind people. If you know nothing about firearms/self defense or even if you know a lot already, this class is great for all people, 10/10, very professional. "
