Lewis Bennett

As a retired Law Enforcement Officer, I’ve dedicated my life to protecting others—both in uniform and beyond. Following my service in law enforcement, I continued that mission by managing Property and Evidence for a city police department and working as a Technician and Sales Representative for a security systems company. In those roles, I helped secure homes, businesses, and government facilities across our community.

Driven by a deep passion for personal safety and empowerment, I transitioned into firearms instruction and home defense training. I firmly believe every law-abiding citizen has both the right and the responsibility to be their own first line of defense. My goal is to provide students with real-world knowledge, confidence, and practical skills they can rely on when it matters most.

Through Bennett Defense, I offer professional, approachable training designed to prepare everyday people—not just for the range, but for life.
