Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit Course (Zoom + In-Person Range Qualification)
Join us for a fun, informative, and fully accredited Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit course—taught live over Zoom! This class is perfect for both new and experienced shooters who want to meet the state’s training requirements from the comfort of home while still getting high-quality, instructor-led guidance.
During our virtual session, you’ll learn Louisiana firearm laws, safety fundamentals, defensive shooting principles, and everything you need to confidently and responsibly carry a concealed handgun. We keep the atmosphere welcoming and engaging, with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion.
Range Qualification Requirement: After completing the Zoom portion, each student is responsible for completing their live-fire qualification at Louisiana Range Gun Club in Maurice, LA. You must complete this step within one month of your class date to receive your certificate.
Students are responsible for:
Ammunition for the qualification (36 rounds total)

A $20 payment to the qualifying range personnel

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Students are required to bring a minimum of 36 rounds of ammunition for whatever caliber pistol they plan to qualify with. You may purchase ammunition from the range as well as rent a handgun to use if you are still undecided on what to purchase. NO REFUNDS. You may reschedule a class date with advanced notice (minimum 48 hours) prior to class.
