This class covers the basic fundamentals of pistol shooting while supplementing the classroom learning with hands on training utilizing gun simulators and airsoft pistols on the virtual range.In the second half of the class, we will apply the skills we have learned to live fire at the range.

This class revisits basic handgun fundamentals and introduces intermediate and defensive handgun skills. Classroom learning is supplemented with live fire on an outdoor range.

I do have handguns available for those students who do not own their own firearm.

This Intermediate/Defensive Handgun Class is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath).

On the range, the student will practice more dynamic shooting skills. We will cover drawing from the holster, shooting from cover, multiple target acquisition, and shooting on the move.

This is scheduled as a private class.

BGSL is an outdoor range, please dress accordingly.

This class is perfect for individuals ready to progress pass their CCDW class. We will perform drills to develop defensive shooting skills on paper targets and rubber dummies.

There is an e-learning that the student is encouraged to complete before the class but it is not mandatory. This learning module is available to the student after the class, as well.

THERE IS NOT A LOT OF MOVEMENT WITH THIS CLASS. Therefore, is your mobility is restricted, you would still be able to successfully complete this course.

Real Estate Agents! There are some unique dangers you may face in your career. We are excited to offer a new course in partnership with the USCCA, just for you. This hour long mini-class will go over identifying risk factors, conflict avoidance techniques, various defensive options, basic first-aid, and more!

Women's Pistol class 1 is geared for the individual with very little experience with firearms. We will cover basgun safety and handgun fundamentals. This the perfect class to attend if you are shopping for your first handgun. This class is very “hands on”. We will cover the fundamentals while on the range and give you the opportunity to shoot a variety of different handguns before you leaves.

This class is for those individuals who are brand new shooters or needing a refresher class on firearm safety and handgun fundamentals.

You do not need a firearm to attend this class. If you are looking to purchase your first handgun this is a good class to attend. I have a variety of different sized pistols you may use during the class which gives you an idea what to look for when you are shopping for you first handgun.

This class explains what constitutional carry means, when you may legally use your handgun, and how to protect yourself inside and outside of the home.

Developing a personal & home protection plan is a key component of not only preparing for how we should (or might) react if confronted by a violent crime, but also how we might avoid violent crime in the first place. Developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up a home invasion plan. It’s a plan that must encompass awareness, avoidance, and preparation, so that we’re less likely to find ourselves in a situation where we have no other option than to use our firearm, rather than more likely.

This class is the ladies only version of the Defensive Shooting Fundamentals class. The range time is spent between drills on paper targets, rubber dummies, and shooting around barriers/cover. If you are interested in learning to apply your pistol skills under more realistic scenarios, this class is a good place to start.

Private instruction is my most popular "class" and allows me to give undivided attention to the shooter and focus on what he/she wishes to gain from their lesson.

I offer individual instruction, couples lessons, and small group instruction.

A Girl & A Gum is a two-hour event designed to provide students with the ability to safely utilize a semi-automatic pistol. This event begins with a discussion about firearm safety, range etiquette, and practice the fundamentals of shooting in a private and safe environment. We strive to have every attendee safely loading, firing, and unloading their firearm by the end of the night. The event fee covers all necessary supplies, range time, targets, eyes, ears, and a gun (if you do not own one). Event Attire: Please wear a baseball cap, closed-toe shoes, and a high-neck shirt (i.e. crew neck). What To Bring: • Firearm – If you have a firearm, please bring it, and bring ammunition that works in your gun. If you don’t have a firearm – no worries! We’ll have one for you to borrow for the evening. • Protection – If you don’t have eye protection and ear protection, I will supply earbuds and eye protection • Cash – the fee is $25 includes all supplies!

This is a great class which stresses good fundamentals and beyond. Students learn how to look at shooting from a defensive vs bullseye mindset. It is a fun class that does have a high round count, so bring at least 200 rounds.

This is a ladies only basic pistol class which covers handgun safety and fundamentals. This is a required class to progress to the next level live fire events. Safety drives training and we must all be in the same page in order to progress to the next level safely.

We will cover firearm safety, basic handgun fundamentals, and apply them to the range. Handguns are not necessary to attend class.

Cowgirl Action Match! Come try your hand shooting the firearms typical of those used to tame the Old West. Sponsored by the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) division of BGSL, you will have the opportunity to shoot single action revolver, rifle, and shotgun. Don't worry if you have no experience with these guns, this is a fun opportunity to come out and give it a try. This was one of our favorite events last year.

This is a monthly meeting of AGAG to get together, have a snack, and some range time.

This is an official A Girl & A Gun function during which we will meet at the clubhouse briefly and then head to the range. If you bring your own gun to shoot, please leave it unloaded in the car until you are instructed to retrieve it at the range. The fee for this function is $20 after you have completed the Basic/Safety Class.

This event will also offer a Basic Pistol Class from 12:30-1:30.

If you are attending the Basic Pistol Class first, the fees for that class are $4o and this does include the range fee.

This class will cover gun safety and basic handgun fundamentals
