What You'll Learn
Concealed Carry Deadly Weapons (CCDW KY)
We will cover concealed carry to acquire your license, basics in firearms responsibility, shooting, avoiding violent encounters & conflict as well as situational awareness, the legal concerns of using deadly force, options to mitigate those encounters & more.
We will travel to complete the shooting qualification at American Shooters (128 W. Bell Ave. Clarksville, In 47129)
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
* Students will pay range fees ($25.00) that include 1hr range time, eye protection, ear protection & target. * IF YOU DON'T OWN A FIREARM* I can loan you a firearm for class. I can offer ammunition if discussed prior to class. Firearms can also be rented for $10 from the gun range. You will also need to purchase ammunition from the range that averages $25 per box of 50 rounds. * This course, as set forth by the State, fulfills the requirement of training to apply for a Kentucky concealed carry deadly weapons license. Fees associated with applying with the state are $65 and are paid to the state when you apply for your license.
