PISTOL SKILLS 3 – KANSAS CITY, KANSAS Skill Level: Advanced

Prerequisites: Pistol Skills 2. Must be 21 years old or older

Objective: To build on the lessons learned in Pistol Skills 2 and introduce the student to drawing from a holster.

Course Description:

Pistol Skills 3 introduces the student to drawing from a holster. The focus is on safe drawing, holstering, and firearm manipulation in a stationary platform. The class will include approximately 50% classroom instruction and 50% range time.

Holster selection Open vs Concealed Carry Gear/holster placement options Intro to drawing from a holster Live fire practice of learned skills Required Equipment:

Personal Firearm Inside or Outside the Waistband Holster on a belt (no Serpa, soft sided, or floppy holsters – must be able to reholster one handed without holding the holster open) 100 – 150 rounds of brass cased ammunition* Minimum of 2 magazines Eye and Ear Protection* *Available for purchase day of class Recommended Optional Equipment:
