What You'll Learn
Master the Modern Optic: Introduction to Red Dot Sights
Transitioning from iron sights to an optic or looking to refine your electronic sighting skills? This comprehensive, hands-on course is designed to take the mystery out of Red Dot Sights (RDS) and give you the confidence to run your platform efficiently.
Held on a scenic, private farm range, this course offers a focused and professional environment to master your gear. We will cover:
Gear & Selection: A deep dive into brands, price points, and various types of optics (open vs. closed emitters) to help you understand what works best for your needs.
Technical Setup: Learn the mechanics of mounting, battery maintenance, and the "why" behind different reticle sizes (MOA).
The Zeroing Process: We will verify your current setup and walk through the specific methodology for achieving a surgical zero.
RDS Techniques: Overcome the "search for the dot." We will cover finding the dot on the draw, target-focused vs. sight-focused shooting, and managing parallax.
Live-Fire Drills: Put theory into practice with a series of drills designed to improve speed, transitions, and accuracy under a clock.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will receive a refund of half the cost. Provisions may be made for a reschedule at full cost.
