What You'll Learn
This beginner-friendly class is perfect for new shooters looking to build a strong foundation. We focus on essential skills like safe firearm handling, proper grip, stance, sight alignment, and understanding commands used during live fire. It's an excellent primer for anyone just getting started on their shooting journey, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident before progressing to more advanced classes.
This class is a classroom-style course. There won't be any live fire, and there's no need to bring a firearm. All of the hands-on work will be done using a provided laser training pistol, and the focus is on safety and fundamentals in a low-pressure environment.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
