What You'll Learn
An intense and fast-paced course focused on the practical application of a handgun. This course will help refine your marksmanship and key skills needed to effectively utilize a handgun in a, fluid, and life-threatening situation. By using the Bravo Assessment Drill, we provide a structured way to measure your baseline before pushing into dynamic movement. Explore the possibilities of increasing your speed and accuracy at common engagement distances. Mastery of these key skills will not only be lifesaving in defensive shootings but will also make you a force multiplier.
Prerequisite: The student should have a familarization with their handgun and not be new to how it functions or the use of their sighting system (irons/red dot). Prior experience going to the range, loading and unloading, shooting marksmanship at a stationary target is good experience to prep you for this course.
Equipment Needed: Students will provide their own ammo: 500 rounds preferred. Hardware – A functional and practical handgun chambered in standard defensive caliber (no .22cal). If available, a spare weapon system is also an excellent idea. Each student should have a minimum of 3 working magazines. Single stack guns should have 4 working magazines.
• Clothing suited to strenuous activity as well as being seasonally appropriate. • Rain gear / cold weather gear (seasonal). • Ear pro (electronic preferred) / Eye pro. • Baseball style hat recommended. • Proper belt to support equipment. • Pistol • A OWB kydex pistol holster and double magazine pouch that will retain equipment when moving • Water hydrating device • Folding chair and table (optional) • Snacks - lunch – drinks.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 14 days in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 14 days before the class will not be refunded.
