Designed for beginners who have never handled or fired a pistol, and those wanting a refresher in basics, this course builds fundamental handgun knowledge and safety skills.
Students will learn universal firearm safety rules, safe home storage, and the operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols.
The curriculum covers ammunition, magazines, sights, basic ballistics, and the core marksmanship principles—including stance, grip, eye dominance, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, and breath control—alongside essential range safety protocols.

This course explores the cognitive science, human physiology, and mental strategies required to navigate critical, high-stress self-defense situations.
Students will examine key mental models, including the OODA Loop, Hick’s Law, Occam’s Razor, and Information Bandwidth Theory, to learn how simplifying decision-making and stripping away complexity can eliminate reaction lag and cognitive overload.
The curriculum also breaks down the biological effects of Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) activation—such as increased heart rate, fine motor skills failure, and sensory overload—and provides actionable principles to maintain control under pressure.
Through real-world case studies and video analysis, participants will learn how to bypass denial, recognize threats immediately, standardize their mindset and gear, and build trained responses that ensure rapid, decisive action when seconds count.
