What You'll Learn
In this class, you will learn all of the firearms fundamentals. Sight alignment sight picture hand placement proper grip recoil management firearms selection proper finger placement and trigger control
We will provide ammo and firearms; if you want to bring your firearm, you can. No ammunition is allowed in the classroom. You will also learn how to field strip a firearm and clean it.
You will be responsible for your range and target fee.
Cancellation Policy: If there is a cancellation on our part you will be refunded. If you cancel your classes we will not issue a reimbursement. We will schedule you for the next class. Any cancelation after a reschedule you will have to pay for another class.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
You can bring your firearm but *No Ammunition* is allowed in the classroom. We will help you get familiar with your firearm. Bring a pen and paper to take notes. So here's what you're getting: Ammunition is included for our firearms only. We will provide the firearms. Again if you want to bring your own, you are welcome; you will have to provide the ammunition for it to shoot the state qualification, Upon completion, you will receive two certificates. Also, the Illinois State Police16-hour completed certificate.
