My Biography
Combat Veteran Green Beret. I have taken the skills I developed in the Special Forces and adapted them to teach everyday Americans and their families of all ages and skill levels firearms safety, preparing for and avoiding dangerous situations, de-escalation if avoidance is not possible, and finally defending to protect themselves and their loved ones. My classes are perfect for first time shooters, and many of the classes cover protective measures that do not even involve a firearm. I am focused on teaching the following:
- Common sense and practical personal/home safety/protection
- Firearms safety for children
- Emergency first aid
- Protecting houses of worship
- Countering mass shooter threat
- Women's handgun and self-defense fundamentals
- Handgun and rifle for all ages and levels
Note: Any classes in IL involving firearms require students to (1) bring their own firearm and ammunition, AND (2) have a valid FOID card or be eligible for a FOID card and be under the direct supervision of a FOID card holder who is at least 21 years old. 430 ILCS 65/2(b)(15)

IF YOU ARE AN ASC MEMBER, DO NOT REGISTER HERE AND USE THE ASC MEMBER LINK INSTEAD.
Supervised handgun shooting sessions for adult men and women ages 18 and up. No experience is necessary; novices are welcome even if you have never fired a gun before. Experienced shooters will also benefit from practicing with coaches. Shooting will be from a static firing line at close distances. Paper targets will be provided for all calibers. $20 is non-ASC member price.
Private 1:1 handgun session to address specific needs of student.
A must for any family with a firearm and children in the home. This class is meant for parents and kids to sit together and learn how to keep kids safe and prevent accidents in the home.
Intro to handgun and self-defense for beginner to novice women.
This class will teach congregation members and leadership the following:
- How not to be a victim both during services and outside of services.
- How to develop an emergency operations plan for the congregation.
- How to detect the signs of mass shooters.
- How to react in the event of a mass shooting.
Develop a personal and home protection plan. This class does not involve a live fire exercise and can be completed in the comfort of your home with family and friends.
IL CCL 3-hr renewal class covering laws related to ownership, storage, carry, and transportation of firearm, followed by weapon handling and live fire qualification.

From basic first aid all the way to mass casualty incidents, this class will be custom tailored to fit your needs/requests.
