My name is Don Griffin. I became a Certified Instructor for the USCCA and I hold classes in Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals (Illinois 16hr CCW Certification class) Illinois CCW renewal Classes (3Hrs), Women’s Handgun and Self Defense Fundamentals, and Countering the Mass Shooter Threat and I am also a Range Safety Officer. I have developed a well-rounded Curriculum to help every level of shooter from Novice to Advanced hone their skills and become Safe and Well-trained Shooters, not with just the ability to shoot a gun well, but the mindset that’s necessary to be a responsibly armed Citizen. I wish to carry all this forward as a Training Counselor and teach others to become great firearm instructors to a growing segment of our society! Thank you for your consideration.

What You'll Learn
Reality-based, interactive training for your brain and skills without the price of ammunition! In this simulation training class, you will be put in realistic situations with video that responds to your choices which challenges your natural reaction to threats, giving you feedback in real time! We will begin with the building blocks of defensive shooting, the principles of the legal use of force, then experience multiple scenarios with various outcomes based on the decision process. We will then examine the outcome in a debriefing session before returning to the scenario again.
