Terrance (Ruckus) Foster was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. He has been married for over 20 years and is raising 4 kids within the inner-city of Chicago. In his free time, you may see him on a 4-wheeler, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and shooting at the range amongst other things. He is a community leader in Chicago's North Lawndale Neighborhood. He is very active with the local church and several community organizations working with the youth.

Because he is a country boy at heart, he has always had a love for firearms. When he was younger, he would always go hunting with his Paw Paw and uncles. Growing up, he has always wanted to teach others the fundamentals of gun safety. He is now an active member of the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA) and board member of the 761st Gun Club.

One of Terrance’s goals is to teach inner city youth, young adults how to safely use guns, hunting and how to fish. Our young people need to learn to value and respect life. By helping them focus their attention on other activities, Terrance believes that it will make an impact on violence within our communities. “We need to grab our young people and teach them before the streets teach them.”

It’s time for the community to stop saying guns are bad and start learning gun safety and self-defense fundamentals.
