What You'll Learn
Day 1. This training encompasses 8 hours of the mandatory 16 hours required to apply for the Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL). The session includes terminology, fundamental stance and grip techniques, as well as handgun disassembly and cleaning procedures. Furthermore, we will conduct a qualification at the range on Saturday afternoon to ensure all participants have adequate practice time. Participants should prepare for an engaging and productive day.
Day 2. This training encompasses the second eight hours of the mandatory sixteen hours required to apply for the Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL). The session will include a discussion on Illinois Firearms Owners Identification (FOID) and Concealed Carry License (CCL) legislation, the principles of the use of force, and drawing from concealment. Attendees are advised to pay particular attention during this session, as it will cover Illinois laws related to the FOID Card and Concealed Carry Statutes, as well as the state's reciprocity agreements with other states.
The fee of $160.00 pertains solely to the training and does not encompass the $150.00 paid to the State of Illinois for your CCL License.
A minimum of three students is required to conduct the class. If this minimum is not met, the class will be canceled. Participants will have the option to receive a full refund or to reschedule for the class in the following month.
You may cancel the class within 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time to receive a full refund or to arrange a rescheduling.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 24 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor
1. A continental-style breakfast will be provided. 2. Lunch will last 1 hour and be at your own expense. 3. Bring 50 rounds of NON-STEEL ammo for qualification at the range. 3b. Leave all ammo in your vehicle; it will not be needed in class. If you have something you want us to look at, please inform us before class. 3c. If you have a handgun, please bring it, as you will need it during the breakdown and cleaning portion of the class. 3d. Bring a firearm cleaning kit if you have one. 4. Suggestion: Always wear a high-neck shirt or blouse when you come to shoot. This minimizes the chance of hot brass getting inside your top. 5. You must bring your own ammo; if we sell it to you, it will be at a premium cost to the student. 6. Range fees are included in your training. Ammo and gun rental will be your only expense, which is $25.00 if you need to use one of ours. 7. You do not need the Illinois FOID Card to take the class; you will need it before you apply for your Illinois CCL. It is advisable to park as close as possible to the rear of the building; ingress will be through the front entrance, but access for lunch and breaks will be via the rear.
