What You'll Learn
This is a 16-hour course (two days, one right after the other, 8:00 am ~ 5:00 pm each day, starting at Holiday Inn Express Suites-Riverfront, with an hour for lunch) that fulfills the Illinois State Police requirement to apply for your concealed carry license (CCL). On the second half of Day Two, there is a shooting qualification portion that will take place at Kam Shooting Sports in Morton, Illinois. Because there is a shooting qualification requirement, there is a reasonable expectation that you are fairly proficient with a handgun prior to taking a concealed carry course.
