In that real world, few threatening encounters are static in nature. So it is important that you train for the real word, not just for the range. This training starts with the basics of the draw from holster, position SUL and magazine exchanges in both a dry fire and live mode. As the course advances the emphasis shifts to movement and related defensive tactics to build a comprehensive set of real world skills needed to prevail in threatening situations. Live fire scenarios include clearing malfunctions and engagement of variable targets while moving. Emergency reloads under realistic conditions and movement between barricades is included. Tactics, techniques and procedures are presented to overcome the challenges of lethal confrontations and give the shooter confidence in responding to engagements that involve non-static, real world 3600 threats.
