What You'll Learn
Build your confidence from the ground up in this low-stress, beginner-friendly introductory course. Designed specifically for first-time shooters and new gun owners, this class strips away the intimidation of firearms. You will master the universal rules of gun safety and the basic mechanical operations of modern handguns.
What You Will Learn :The 4 Core Safety Rules: Developing a safety-first mindset for handling and storage. Pistol Mechanics: Understanding how semi-automatics pistols function. Seven fundamentals of pistol shooting. Range Etiquette: Learning standard commands and protocol for a safe range visit.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled class start time may choose between a full refund or a transfer of the class fee to a future scheduled class within one calendar year at no cost pending availability. * Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the scheduled class start time may transfer the class fee to a future scheduled class within one calendar year at no cost pending availability but will not be eligible for a refund. * Any no show with no call will result in no refund. A transfer of the class fee to a future scheduled class will be at the discretion of the Instructor. * All class fees collected where the class was not attended by the payee will be forfeited after 365 days of the originally scheduled class. * In cases where the student failed to comply with the course requirements, there will be no refunds. * In cases where the class has been attended, there will be no refunds.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
