Topics covered will be: GA Gun Laws, basic firearms safety, firearm manipulation, general maintenance and fundamentals of marksmanship. This course requires that the student demonstrate the ability to utilize safe gun handling techniques.

In this introduction module, we will introduce students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. We will explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics, and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.

USCCA’s “Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals” is a welcoming and engaging training guide created for women who are seeking to begin, improve upon, or add to their firearms skills.
