What You'll Learn
This Women's semi-automatic pistol course is designed for women with no prior shooting experience or those seeking to refresh their basic training. The course covers essential topics such as gun safety, range, etiquette, the fundamentals of shooting, storage, and holster selection.
Cancellation Policy: Individuals registered for courses/private lesson at JCIGR are required to provide 72 hours notice in order to cancel and receive a full refund. 48 hours notice to reschedule course/private lesson will be charged a $10 fee and WILL NOT be refunded. 24 hour notice to reschedule course/private lesson will be charged a $50 fee and WILL NOT be refunded. What We'll Teach
Women's Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.
Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:
- Situational awareness
- Common types of handguns
- Ammunition types, malfunctions
- Firearms handling skills
- Defensive pistol fundamentals
- The use of deadly force
Whether you’ve never touched a firearm, you’re looking for the next steps in your training, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills, tools, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Doors will open 15 minutes before and close 5 minutes after class starts. Students arriving 10 minutes late will need to reschedule for the next available class and will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee.
