What You'll Learn
This 3-hour semi-automatic pistol introductory course is designed for students with no prior shooting experience or those seeking to refresh their basic training. The course covers essential topics such as gun safety, range etiquette, the fundamentals of shooting, storage, and holster selection.
ALL INCLUSIVE (includes range fee, guns, ammo, eye and ear protection and targets).
Students must complete Level 1-3 Basic Handgun and Self-Defense courses to receive a certificate of completion.
Cancellation Policy: Individuals registered for courses/private lesson at JCIGR are required to provide 72 hours notice in order to cancel and receive a full refund. 48 hours notice to reschedule course/private lesson will be charged a $10 fee and WILL NOT be refunded. 24 hour notice to reschedule course/private lesson will be charged a $50 fee and WILL NOT be refunded. We would like to sincerely thank you for your understanding of this policy.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

Doors will open 10 minutes before class starts and close 5 minutes after class starts. Students arriving 10 minutes late will need to reschedule for the next available class and will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee.
