What You'll Learn
Enjoy a fully inclusive experience! We provide everything you need—including lunch, range fees, firearms, ammunition, targets, and all necessary safety gear.
This introductory handgun course is designed for individuals with little to no experience, as well as those looking to refresh their skills.
Instructional topics include firearm safety fundamentals, safely clearing a semi-automatic pistol, range etiquette, core marksmanship principles, common malfunctions and how to address them, guidance on selecting a firearm, and an overview of Federal and Georgia firearm laws.
The course concludes with a live-fire session at the range, where students will apply what they have learned in a safe and structured environment.
Cancellation Policy: In registering for class, the student acknowledges they may receive text message reminders. Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date to receive a refund. Student cancellations will be assessed a 10% administration fee which will be deducted from the refund. Classes cancelled by students less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. Students who do not show up to attend a class are not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled if a future class is available. Students who do not attend all portions (which also includes any online learning components) of a class are not eligible for a refund but may arrange with an instructor to attend a future session if there is available class space.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Bringing your personal handgun is strongly encouraged to help you become more familiar with the specific firearm you own. The classroom portion of the course will be held at: 521 Greenhouse Patio Drive NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144 The live-fire training will take place at: Governors Gun Club, 1005 Cobb Place Blvd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144 Important: All classes that include range time require students to present a valid, state-issued photo ID.
