Gun Safety Course Description
This Gun Safety Course is designed to provide responsible firearm owners with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary for safe and lawful firearm handling. The course emphasizes safety as the foundation of all firearm use and is suitable for beginners as well as those seeking a refresher.
Participants will learn the four fundamental rules of firearm safety, proper handling and storage practices, situational awareness, and safe loading and unloading procedures. Instruction also includes an overview of firearm types, ammunition basics, range safety etiquette, and accident prevention.
Legal responsibilities, use-of-force considerations, and the importance of decision-making under stress are discussed to promote responsible ownership. Hands-on demonstrations and guided practice help reinforce safe habits and build confidence.
This course is ideal for:
