Introduction to Georgia Constitutional Carry Requirements. Update on recent changes related to concealed and open carry in the State of Georgia.

If you are a new firearm owner or thinking about your first purchase - this class is a must. If you are experienced - never a bad time to check in to stay current.

New to firearms ownership? Have you recently made a purchase and wondering what now? Perhaps it has been a while since you trained? Wherever you are and whatever your experience level, this call will help you with next steps toward owning your own personal safety, and building both your confidence and competence. You will have the opportunity for PRIVATE 1:1 CONSULT & COACHING with personal attention via video or phone call during which you can ask questions, seek guidance and learn what you need to know for your next step.

Note: Designed for new shooters/firearms owners who wants to equip themselves with basic introduction to safety, function, care and handling. This class is part of a three class series. There is range time provided during the LAST class in the series [Women's Basic Pistol 3]. This class does NOT include range time. This is an introduction to the skills and concepts. For this class you do not need to bring any special equipment or own a firearm. We will provide you with everything you need for this class. Just bring yourself, pen and paper and any related questions you have been considering.

Pre-requisites: Women's Basic Pistol 1 & 2 or Women's Handgun & Self Defense 1 or Certificate showing having passed USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Class or prior Coaching Call AND range evaluation with instructor.

This class reviews the skills and concepts required to take your marksmanship basics and fundamentals to the next level skillset.

This class does not have an on-range time requirement. For those who wish to take their classroom learning onto the range, we offer separate regularly scheduled instructor led supervised skills practice sessions based on your individual level of competency. These sessions allow for a smaller group on the range, with greater personal attention for each student. You will be provided information about getting registered for these supervised practice sessions when you attend this course. You may also find information about them on our website at CPSTrainingPartners.com.

Since this class does not have a range requirement, there is no special equipment needed.

Pre-requisite: Required!! You must have taken and passed Women's Handgun & Self Defense 1 or the Basic USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Class. If you sign up for this class and do not meet the pre-requisite - you will be offered the next available Class1.

Supervised Skills Practice Session for Women This is an instructor led practice session for those who wish to take what they have learned in the classroom onto the range with coaching, training support and supervision. Drills will be provided in a structured practice focusing on basic marksmanship and core fundamentals. This is a session for women only and includes the fee for use of the range.

If you do not have your own handgun yet - rentals are available for you to use at no added charge with the purchase of ammunition from the range.

This group training session begins with a conversation about you, your experience so far and your learning goals. There will be a basic safety review before we advance onto the range. If this is your first time using this range you will be asked to sign range waiver forms and review the range safety rules before we proceed onto the range. Range time will be at least 45 minutes up to 1 hour. We close out the session with a brief review, a practice plan and scheduling your next session or class at your option.

Which Class Should You Choose? Beginner 1 - focuses on First Shots and Marksmanship Basics & Fundamentals Beginner 2 - Begins to add in management of malfunctions and magazine changes.
Beginner 3 - Starts to Introduce Speed and Self Defense Specific Fundamental Skills which are different from the marksmanship skills practiced in Beginner 1.

!!IMPORTANT!!
If you are unsure of your skill level and which practice session best fits your current skill level - please contact us. We will be happy to help you find the appropriate fit for your situation. You may repeat the skills session for your level as many times as you like. It is important to master one level before moving onto the next. Doing so will reduce your learning curve and actually help you advance faster and safer.

Prior firearms safety training from the USCCA or NRA is a requirement to attend this or any of our skills sessions. If you book this session, and have not taken a class, then you will be directed to take one of our basics classes before you come to a skills session. If you have taken a prior safety class which is not one taught by CPS Training Partners, then we will require your certificate of completion for either your USCCA or NRA class showing that you have already gone through basic handgun fundamentals with a qualified instructor. Rest assured these requirements are for your benefit to support your learning, your safety and the safety of others when you are on the range. We will do our very best to reschedule your safety skills practice session once you have completed the required introductory class within six months.
