What You'll Learn
(FREE $30.00 Book) Home Firearm Safety Course is a 4-hour course designed to develop the basic knowledge and skills necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms in the home. This is a hands-on training safety course. It is recommended for adults who either have firearms in their home or who are looking to purchase one for their home. This class is not a live fire how to shoot course. A Certified Instructor will cover the following items; Rules for safe gun handling and storage, Safe loading and unloading of handguns, rifles, shotguns and sporting rifles like the AR-15. You will also learn about how firearms work, nomenclature and proper storage of ammunition and much, much more. This class is designed for the whole family. So, it’s a very child-friendly course and parents are encouraged to bring their children if they are 6 yrs. of age or older. Children ages 6-10 are free. Children ages 11-16 are only $15.00 per child. Please let us know if you plan to bring your children. Course materials and completion certificate are included in fees. If you have been court ordered to attend a firearm safety course this course meets the required safety standards. Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. Fee's can be applied to a future class. Contact ACT for additional class scheduling or assistance, if needed.
